Mr. Wasem became Chief Tradeflow Officer in 2021, and is responsible for managing Gunvor’s transaction flow, including oversight of Accounting, Controlling, Credit, Risk, and Tax.

He was Group Controller from 2011-2020. Prior to Gunvor, Mr. Wasem served as Group Financial Controller for Compagnie Financière Tradition Lausanne, and as a Banking Auditor at EY Geneva. He holds a Masters in Economics from HEC Lausanne/Amsterdam, and is a Swiss Certified Financial Controller.
