Mr. Meeus joined Gunvor in 2010, as a naphtha trader, becoming global head of desk in 2017. Based in Geneva, his work has involved integrating commercial opportunities between the company’s oil products trading and European refining operations, an effort which now focuses on the Energy Transition. Prior to Gunvor, Frederic was at TotalEnergies for 13 years, during which time he served in a number of products trading and commercial roles, working throughout Africa, the Middle East, and South America. He has a degree in economics and commercial engineering.
